Where to stay in Guadeloupe ?

When planning your vacation in Guadeloupe, you are certainly asking yourself this question. Basse Terre or Grande Terre? Half half ? Between the two ?

Many people choose to do a traveling trip and split their stay into 2, 3 or even 4 stages. It's a legitimate choice, but given the size of the island, not necessarily necessary. So if you don't want to do the cleaning, suitcases, inventory and handing over the keys several times at During your stay in Guadeloupe, the ideal is to choose central accommodation on the island. By choosing JADEN KREYOL, you will never drive more than an hour to get to the other end of the island.

To help you choose, you can read our blog articles Where to stay on Guadeloupe ?

A generous garden

Although small, our garden is no less generous. Creole, from the Spanish "criollo" (mixture) can mean that the garden, in an apparent disorder where everything seems mixed, offers a great wealth of products from the earth to nourish, heal or adorn.

Fruits, vegetables, spices, aromatic herbs, medicinal plants, flowers... depending on the season: passion fruit, acerola cherry, coffee, papaya, soursop, guava, lemon, cythera plum, banana, sugar cane, aloe vera, lemongrass, doliprane, apple creeper, christophine, yam, malanga, sweet potato, eggplant, cabbage, tomato, pineapple, pepper, vanilla, chili peppers, avocado, nutmeg, gourd, mint, red currant (byssap), basil, chive , parsley, rosemary, thyme, large thyme, Indian wood, zeb a fe...

Not to mention the flowers: alpinia, bird of paradise, balisier, ixora, alamanda, anthurium, begonia, croton, hibiscus, orchids...

We are happy to introduce and consume garden products to our visitors.

Or to participate in the processing of garden products, as shown opposite: the decherying of coffee after picking.

Discreet and available hosts

Anita, a native of Guadeloupe, returned to her native country in 1993, after a long career in the hotel industry in Europe, then in Guadeloupe. Now a young retiree, proud of her island and its culture, she likes to discover the little secrets of the easy West Indian way of life and the Creole garden.

Henri arrived on the butterfly island in 1992. Having fallen in love with the islands of Guadeloupe and the island and Caribbean way of life, he first worked there in tourism as a diving instructor, leisure agent, tourist guide, receptionist. .. Then he fell in love with Anita and life has continued together since 1998.

Installed in their house in Lamentin since 2000, it was in 2009 that they chose to open it to visitors in search of authenticity. They bring the greatest care and their personality to the layout which mixes country simplicity and hotel refinement. To the delight of visitors who always leave with the Guadeloupe banana ;-)
