The apartment

We offer, above and on the opposite side of the gite, an F1 type apartment of 40 m2 which can accommodate up to 3 additional people, in the same room. It thus offers a maximum capacity of 8 people in total.
Arranged so as not to have vis-à-vis, neither with the owners, nor with the lodging, it offers simple comfort and independence:

Rented in addition to the cottage for a family stay, it allows you to accommodate, for example, Grandpa and Grandma in nearby but independent accommodation. The house on the ground floor will then be your family gathering place.
The apartment is not rented alone, in order to preserve the exclusive character of the gîte and the unique proximity of your hosts.

The garden

Although small, our garden is no less generous. Creole, from the Spanish "criollo" (mixture) can mean that the garden, in an apparent disorder where everything seems mixed, offers a great wealth of products from the earth to nourish, care for or adorn.

Fruits, vegetables, spices, aromatic herbs, medicinal plants, flowers... depending on the season, it offers: passion fruit, acerola cherry, coffee, papaya, soursop, guava, lemon, cythera plum, banana, sugar cane, aloe vera, lemongrass, doliprane, creeper apple, chayote, yam, malanga, sweet potato, eggplant, cabbage, tomato, pineapple, pepper, vanilla, peppers, avocado, nutmeg, calabash, mint, country gooseberry (byssap), basil, chives , parsley, rosemary, thyme, large thyme, wood of India, zèb a fè...

Not to mention the flowers: alpinia, bird of paradise, balisier, ixora, alamanda, anthurium, begonia, croton, hibiscus, orchids...
We are happy to introduce and consume garden products to our visitors.

Your hosts

Anita, a native of Guadeloupe, returned to her native country in 1993, after a long career in the hotel industry in Europe, then in Guadeloupe. Today, a young retiree, proud of her island and its culture, she likes to help people discover the little secrets of the Caribbean way of life and the Creole garden.

Henri arrived on Butterfly Island in 1992. Falling in love with the islands of Guadeloupe and the island and Caribbean way of life, he worked there for a long time in tourism as a guide, diving instructor, leisure agent, receptionist... Then it is with Anita that he falls in love and life has gone on together since 1998.

Installed in their house in Lamentin since 2000, it was in 2009 that they chose to open it to visitors in search of authenticity. They bring the greatest care and their personality to the layout, which mixes rustic simplicity and hotel refinement. To the delight of visitors who always leave with bananas from Guadeloupe ;-)
